Mobile screed plant

Our own plant, batched on site, the day you need it.

We arrive with a Transmix mobile screed plant and batch your material on site. No suppliers in the chain, no part-loads coming back to the yard. You pay for what we pour.

Lower carbon

No truck running between plant and site. Less material wasted at the kerbside.

How it works

The plant arrives on a single truck with raw materials, mixing kit and a line pump. We set up in around 30 minutes and start batching. The mix passes through an automated batching computer, the output is metered, and the pump delivers it to the slab. Nothing is mixed that doesn’t go straight into the floor.

Why this matters on a build

With a traditional supplier you book a truckload of ready-mix and hope you've ordered enough — but not too much. Over-order and you pay for return loads. Under-order and the pour stops mid-floor while another truck is dispatched. Neither is a good answer. On-site batching solves it: if the slab needs another half cube, we mix another half cube.

Materials

We bring the sand, cement, water and additives. Public mains water is fine if it’s on tap. We can run from a site bowser too. Power is from the truck — you don’t need to provide anything except the access.

What you get from us

Same crew running the plant as pouring the floor. One number to ring, one team to coordinate, one batch reference to chase if anything ever comes up later.

Questions we get

Do you need a water connection on site?

A tap is ideal. We can run from a bowser if the site doesn’t have water yet. Just let us know up front.

What space do you need to set up?

A truck-sized parking spot near the pour, ideally on hardstanding. Pump line can reach around 60 metres so the plant doesn’t need to be right at the door.

Can you do really small jobs?

Yes. There’s a minimum mobilisation charge to cover the day, but there’s no minimum m² or m³.
